Wink Posh face a trip to hell

From today's (Peterborough) Telegraph

http://www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/V...SectionID=5151

Looks like some of their team are getting their excuses in early

(Don't get confused by the inaccuracies, it's poor journalism all round )

They are dangerous opponents no matter where you play them because they have got good players and they have excellent set-piece routines.
Where did he see those "excellent set piece-routines"? I think they make it up when they don't know what to say.

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

To be fair it's a half decent article and not that far off the mark. If at all.

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

Well if they foresee a trip to hell, let’s give them one. This is a club that sees itself as something special even if it’s only in their own minds, posh my arse send them home Stanley and make their journey “point less”.

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

Do we?! We're mid table in the basement division, and we know about it.

It's a rubbish article, because ****ty little terraced grounds are football heaven to me, I love them.

You've got to laugh at the "no atmosphere" bit.

I laughed my head off at the article, I'm glad players hate coming here to be honest. Keep your money in your pocket Eric, and keep the ground a 'Living Hell' for away Teams :P

Made me laugh to, as i think the playing surface at the FES is kept in pretty good condition, at the end of last season our pitch looked better than Chelski`s, and as for no atmosphere which game did they attend to get that impression.

You'll have to get up North a bit more, hope you found us natives friendly.

Mr Blackett seemed to be a bit mesmerised by the grass, do you not have it down South?

Nice flags BTW.

Nick lives in Sheffield most of the time, so you'd think he'd have known that.

Re: Posh face a trip to hell

I`m sure Posh keeper "Bonnie" Tyler will never forget his trip to Accy.
Anybody time how long that went on for ?
Nice display of flags Posh but not a lot of noise.
Then again you were being outplayed for the majority.
Couldn`t of had a better day for a trip to a lovely open plan stadium.
And no puddles to wade thru in the car park, keep your little posh feetsies nice and clean.
Welcome back next year.
Happy Easter.
