not too sure about that mate, can't do much damage to the crown, or accy fer that matter.

use my whole quote if yeh want to attempt to illustrate a point, by reducing it to try n score points, it just illustrates the mentality of yer fans.
I was using the main part of your post to get my point across.. and take it any way you want and say what you liike..just be ready for accrington/clayton to have union jacks ripped down and rebel songs sung and tricolours hung from every door way and you might wanna plug yer ears up as you will hear their 'folk' songs(ira dittys..cough cough) enough times during the match..
they paint themsleves such a pretty picture but infact they are worse than most realise..
lincoln city last preseason
if they hate the uk that much why dont they go home to their 'adopted' oirland...
Hi The tick, train station is about a mile from the ground, about half hour walk but beware it is all uphill, cab can be got just outside the station, and there is a club shop go on our website for shop or ring lewis at the shop direct there you go
Thanks ddevil, the shop is closed right now but I'll try again Monday thanks. The hill is bad news, the kids will be annoyed enough being dragged away from the xbox to see a real football match!
Glasgow Guy.....
I went to Lincoln, with my kids. The only violent or threatening behaviour I saw was when I was threatened (in front of my kids) by 3 Lincoln City lads. Fortunately I was able to calm the situation and ended up getting on ok with them.
Apart from that, I saw many Celtic & Lincoln fans talking to each other around the ground. We got there 2 hours before the kick off. There was kids entertainment going on in the playing fields next to the ground, my kids were playing with Lincoln City fans kids. Afterwards we went to a pub with some of them & had some dinner.
On the way back, I spoke to a Lincoln City fan (a season ticket holder) who spoke about the trouble in the town before the match. He told me that some Lincoln City fans had started throwing stuff at Celtic fans who were sat outside a pub and that's how it started.
I'm not trying to present our fans as being squeaky clean. Every club has an element of violence in it and Celtic are no exception.
But I do wonder what you're trying to incite here.
There will be tricolours being waved, and old rebel songs being sung, but that is the history of our club, they are our colours and have been since we were formed in 1888. Even the Queen has paid respect to the men who are referred to in those songs during her visit to Ireland recently.
I am not trying to incite anything other than let people know what they will get get when 'the greatest fans in the world' arrive in town, and whilst the green brigade will make their opinions known I am sure there are some very normal and decent fans like yourself..
and the old rebel songs being sung that are part of the 'history' - are those the same ira rebel songs you hear on matchday at celtic park? where do they fit into your clubs history? and please dont say they dont get sung..
did you sing about no bloodstained poppy on your hoops?
and referring to the queen paying respect..is that really the best you can do to justify singing those type of songs
and I dont mind my user being in green?
I bet you dont like being tainted with the same brush that the 'green brigade' get tainted with..
Is there any chance that a moderator can excise this nasty Glasgow-based venom from our forum?
I am not glasgow based..?? and why say I am nasty?
there is nothing I have posted that is not true..whether people like it or not.
and what do you mean by excise? I am nothing to do with duty or any tax..
I have tried to avoid posting on this as it is obvious to anyone from accy that knows me that I am a Rangers fan but this is following the usual pattern of lie, deny and deflect which is usually followed by accusations of anti catholic, anti Irish bigotry. It is true that Rangers fans get a bad name given what appears in the Scottish press but to think that Celtic are any different is deluding yourself. The only difference is that up here Rangers supposedly cutting the pitch in the shape of a sash makes front page but a Hearts ball boy suffering brain damage after being coined by celtic fans recently makes made page 24 of the Record. ant if "the tick" is to be belived this Four charged after violence at Celtic friendly in Lincoln | Glasgow and West | STV News never happened.
For the sake of Coley and Stanley I hope it all goes well but I for one won't be there.
As Cashman says both teams have there bad elements but until you experience it don't feel qualified to judge who is the worst.
Just think, If we saw the pictures of the riot police at Accy and jase getting a 3 year ban would we know that it was way over the top and Jase is a fan not a criminal. Feel free to ban me too.
I never said that you were Glasgow-based; I said that the venom was Glasgow-based. The venom comes from religious bigotry that has sadly used for its focus two great sporting teams in the fine city of Glasgow. The venom therefore is Glasgow-based.

The "truth" manifests itself at every "old firm" game in Glasgow. That truth lies in the behaviour of so-called football fans and the number of arrests made.

To excise means to cut out. Ask Santa for a dictionary.
