So there you are then!
I've been toying with it for a while now, mainly because I miss writing the madcap thread openers. Sadly I couldn't persuade Chimer (yet!) to join me again, and I need all of you, and all the former players - Nige and Ange, DaveinGermany, Outback, Kiwi ........ you all know who you are - to rejoin/join I don't know how long it will last, but will you all PLEASE contact anyone you know who doesn't come on much now and get them to play (again) as well. If we don't have a decent and loyal following by Christmas, I'll have to look at it all over .......... No Chimer (yet!) means that I'm doing the Adding Up as well, so you won't get the wit and wisdom that my mate brought to the get out each week, although I'll try ...... "Eight eights are 64, multiply by seven" ...... I've also always thought that the game was about getting the score correct (who cares if you were wrong, apart from you?) So to that end the points will be different this year; one point for a correct score for either side; four points for the correct outcome (home win, away win or draw); and ten points for a spot on guess. If we're still going at the end of the season, there might be a prize of a 2024/25 Accy shirt! Keep the Faith! Div3North  |

I missed your madcap openers, but certainly didn't miss doing the post-game threads (it would have been completely miserable after Christmas). So I'll be in as a player, but not as a scorer - there just aren't any more ways of describing the average fan's cock-eyed optimism!
