Preparation Is Everything !!!
In tonight's Telegraph !!...
'PREPARATION IS THE KEY TO GLORY ' (And who would say otherwise Jimmy !) (quote) 'Pre-season is finally underway and I, for one am totally delighted to be back. But the first day back in didn't get off to the best of starts as we were locked out of King George's and we still haven't been able to get on the car park. Also, we haven't been able to get the heater working for the showers - but we've told the players that it's all part of THE PLAN .(end of quote). I do hope that this is all tongue-in-cheek on Jimmy's part, and not a true account of what a Football League Club sees as 'PREPARATION', and how it treats it's new and existing squad members in their efforts to achieve the 'GLORY', which from the headline they, the Club, and it's supporters all long to see in the coming season. 'What me worry'....just a little!!...if I believe what I read in the local Rags! |
