Accrington played Notts County for the first five seasons of the Football League - 1888/89, 1889/90, 1890/1, 1891/2, 1892/3. After that as far as I know Accrington Stanley and Notts County were only in the same league - Third Division - for one season 1958/59 Stanley winning 3-0 at home and drawing 1-1 away.
