Prize Draw
Not long now before the Prize Draw. I'm wondering if the email telling me my numbers will arrive before the draw. In fact, I'm wondering if my numbers will be in the draw.

Re: Prize Draw
I see that the draw has been made. I never did get my numbers. I also see that there is to be another prize draw. No thanks.
As a matter of interest, can anyone explain why my payment was credited to Rob Heys? Does the club not have an account in its own name?

When Stanley did the auctions we won one of them and ebay account had been setup by Rob but in Stanley's name. I think it's one of the oddball issues with Paypal where the selling name and the payee name are not always the same. I've had a few where I've bought off e-bay and the selling names and payee names aren't the same. May even happen with ours but never checked.
Still think you need to get on to them about the numbers though, they should refund the payment, I don't think it's acceptable to say yes your numbers were in the draw without telling you what they were.

But no help whatsoever to those who answered the appeal, coughed up the money - and then heard nothing more.

Re: Prize Draw
I can put this thread to bed now. It seems that the numbers were sent but, inexplicably, never arrived.

If the club does not have an account in its own name it should have. No money that an individual pays to the club should go to an employee's personal account. I am sure that if I was paying money to the club and it went to an employee's personal account I would be asking for the money back.
