I was going to mention something along those lines but falling short of that ie
could Stanley have arrangements with one or more other clubs eg Liverpool to give their youngsters and fringe players a better chance of first team football?
Quite clearly the management would have to retain the last word as to who actually took the field in any particular game.
Apparently Rotherham United have been having discussions with Adie Boothroyd of Watford about some Watford youngsters getting loan experience with Rotherham as part of a scheme to benefit both clubs.
Like Coley and Jimmy Alan Knill at Rotherham has an excellent reputation for getting the best out of young footballers.
Could I suggest that Sheffield United who own Chengdu Blades appear to have a very good academy and seem keen to loan their young players out? Recent examples are Ross to Notts County, Quinn to Rotherham, Forte to Doncaster and Hurst to Chesterfield.
If any were likely to move on at some stage it would give Stanley and the player a good chance to look at each other. That's how Scunthorpe got Billy Sharp - again from the Sheffield United.
No doubt they will be well represented at the game and this may afford opportunities for Stanley to have a chat with them about promising UK based and Asian based players.
