Thumbs up Radio Feature - Accrington Stanley

Hello all!

Just wondering if anyone could help me with a radio feature i'm making about Accrington Stanley.

Basically, i'm in my final year of Uni and as part of my course I have to produce a 20 minute radio feature.

I've chosen to do mine on Accrington Stanley FC, and what the club means to people young and old.

I thought it would be a good thing to do because, as you may have guessed from my username, I have close family connections with the club...i'm John's nephew.

So what i'm looking for really is for any fans who are willing to do an interview so I can put it into my docmentary. It shouldn't take up too much of your time and i'd just like to hear what you have to say about Accrington Stanley.

I think alot of people...particularly those outside Accrington, adopt the "who are they??" attitude about the club and I think it would be nice to take a more positive stance on the name, Accrington Stanley.

Also if anyone has, or knows of, any sound clips, commentary or anything of that nature that I could put into my feature, I would greatly appreciate the suggestions.

I would like to point out that this is simply a University project and your voice wouldn't be going out across the airwaves!

So if anyone is interesting in having their say, could I ask you to reply in this thread or PM me and I could sort something out.

Cheers

With regards to using clips/commentary, try contacting 2BR and Radio Lancs to see if they have any recordings you'd be able to use from the Woking game when we won promotion.

Re: Radio Feature - Accrington Stanley

I'm coming down tonight...if the games on...so if you see some randomer with a voice recorder that's just me and not some weirdo!!

Cheers Shakermaker....i've contacted them both, and Radio Lancs have been kind enough to get me some audio from when Accy won promotion.

And hopefully i'll be down for the Morecambe game, so if anyone is willing to talk just let me know.
