Radio Lancashire - fans panel

This is perhaps pointless - I hope it's not.

Some of you maybe aware of a popular new introduction to the Radio Lancs sports show. Each Lancashire club now has three or four fans that come on the radio to air their views after, or sometimes before, a game. They may also come into the studio for a debate during the season. Of course, Stanley need to be talked about on air a lot - it helps to promote the club. I do my best but it needs more. So radio lancs are after one, two maybe three Stanley fans to air their views - prodominently on a Saturday afternoon. All this consitsts of is putting the headphones on and having a live chat about the game with the presenter or myself.

IMO this would be great for the club because you could eulogise all you wanted and give the club that extra bit of good Google Page Ranking. Obviously it will be more difficult should the club be doing badly -but that isn't going to happen is it?

So instead of telling three or four companions in the bar, you could tell 250,000 on air.

It just needs a bit of guts - no silly nicknames i'm afraid - and more than likely - people who attend most games home and away and can boast an accurate unbaised judgement of the team.

Now I have picked out the people from my friends amongst the fans that I think would do a good job and I know Loweiy's name is on a sheet of paper in the Lancs office. He was my first choice having been on the radio towards the end of last season. (are you going to do it?)

Anyway the offer is there. Obviously best thing to do is approach me or email radio lancs. PM me if you want any more details/contact details

Its great fun being on the radio. I enjoy it a lot purely for the fact I know i'm doing the club a lot of good, but it could do with some more valuable opinion. That doesn't come from me - it comes from the fans who would give their life to Stanley. I know there are lots of fans like that.

I look foward to a few PMs.

Adam

Re: Radio Lancashire - fans panel

I thought this was a top idea when I read it on the radio lancs and sent in my number. I did get a message but it was whilst I was on Holiday, thought I had missed the boat.
Adam if you get the chaps at Radio lancs to contact me Iwill give it a go but as you know I will miss a few away games this season due to work and Ultras FC on 24 sundays this year!! If we get 4 fans who will put the possitive side of stanley across then we may help the attendances who knows!

Smiffy I think you could do a good job - like I said I have identified the people who I know could do a good job. Lowely I will get them to contact you. I'm sure missing a couple of games won't matter at all. Needs real fans, not softies who leave notes for the manager!!
