Rather annoyed
After arriving home after tonights game, I find myself still fuming at some of the so called Stanley fans who took it upon themselves to subject Leam to a torrent of verbal abuse as he was walking past the main stand towards the dressing rooms after being sent off. I feel this was totally out of order, I agree it was a silly sending off, but to hear some of the things that where said, (even by one or two long standing so-called fans), it was a disgrace.

I totaly agree with you, even coleman had aright go at Leam as he past the dugout some things are best said in the changing rooms.

Re: Rather annoyed
Bang out of order. No need for that kind of reaction, however daft the player has been.

Although I noticed he barracked the ref for booking Craney who to be quite honest was very lucky to get away with just a yellow card after wading in with his handbag at the ready - of course he doesn't have favourites

Re: Rather annoyed
I thought Liam had a resonable game tonight, but after a long period of Daggers pressure
Stanley were struggling to keep the ball. We won a couple of throw ins that he had taken ,but the Ref had just warned him for time wasting, and he was booked . Part of the problem was that there was very little movement from Stanley, and he was unable to release the ball.
Cav had a good return, and Mullen was his usual good self. On the whole Stanley deserved the win against poor opposition. Well done Reds, its a season ticket for me

Leam Richardson is not the 'stupid b*****d, which I too heard the so called 'Fans' in the Main Stand fling at him as he went to the Dressing Room.
He is perhaps a player who 'walks a fine line' with Referees and their Assistants, but he's not on his own there is he?.
The same individual who stood to attention and directed this abuse at Leam, had a few moments before been praising him for his unrelenting chasing down of one of D & R's forwards....which proves that it is so easy for anyone to become a stupid b*****d, unless they use their brains before putting their mouth into gear!!
Well done Cav. Well done Phil and Darren....well done JC and JB !!
Well done everyone.....
'What me Worry ?'.....not with 48 points I don't !!

After he had been warned, he should have called someone else to take the throw and put the ball down. By the time another player got into position to take the throw the same amount of time would have been wasted. No brainer.

Nor from his manager - as someone else has said, it should be left for the dressing room

Re: Rather annoyed
So he's banned now , can we send him out on loan ... or to Charlton ? Maybe King will get a game now...he's a left back. If he can tie his boots quick enough otherwise Coley might pick imself to play!!

Re: Rather annoyed
Liam as been one of our best players this season and to be barracked for wasting time is laughable thats what we all wanted him to do! Would
you rather he took it quick and they went down the other end and scored?
As for coleman giving him a rollocking correct me if I am wrong but he as been sent of twice lately so he can shut his fat pie face right up. Players follow their mentors example its no wonder we have a poor disciplinary record.
Great comeback from Cav and thought Grant was excellent.

If it had just been 'barracking' Red it might not have been that bad !!..
But as William Casper reports , some so called supporters in the Main Stand hurled abuse of the worst kind at Leam !!. Which his actions did NOT deserve !. He was visibly upset by all this unexpected vitriol, as anyone who had just run himself into the ground for the team's cause would be !!
As for the Manager's reaction !...He should have been giving Leam all the support he needed on the pitch...and saved any criticism for 'after'..
Perhaps he was envisaging next week's performance...without Leam ?
He'll be sorely missed...
Unity from ALL the fans for ALL our Players is the Watchword!!
