i read summat about this the other day in a paper but wasn't sure if it was him or not. I know he was nicknamed Carlo (anyone know why?) but was called Mark. The paper didn't distinguish

big carlo was a big part of the early season run where we went about 15 games unbeaten and virtually sealed the league. unfortunately his legs appeared to go mid way thru the season and am not sure but he may of left early that season. An alty stalwart for years i think

i think the article I read had the Alty link in it - that'll be how he got the England gig as the England physio is Rod Thornley who has been at Alty since time began
