Re: 'red letter ?'.. Mark 2 !
Whatever happens they cant be trusted ever again and should be driven out of Accrington never to return. After last weeks lies and lies and lies and uncoperation with financial backers /funders this owner who ever he maybe needs to go prompto. Its a joke I still havent/cant get over last weeks lies and pathetic jakanory stories when they were on there way to london to shut the club down. Everyone knows the obvious and its shocking isnt it

It may be worth remembering that the Players & Management need our support on the field, The next three home games can go a long way to shaping our season and potentially future destiny with an:
FA Cup 1st Round Game against Salisbury City where we are the giants, a cup run brings it's own gains
Johnstone's Paint QTR. Final against Bury that if we were to win puts us one game away from a two legged final with a Wembley appearance for the Winners
Daggers at home in the league that could push us back into the Top Half
The team needs our support
What you do prior to the games, at half-time & full-time is down to you

Could not have put it better When - and we will - we get through this next 48 hours, I believe that we must all get behind the club and get down to The Crown on Saturday and back the boys to the hilt!! Willie, I know where you are coming from, but just take a little time to think about it and you may see it differently.. But I will be at The Crown on Saturday, as will quiet a few others, who have been stay aways, because they feel that when we come through this mess, we will be stronger for it.

Re: 'red letter ?'.. Mark 2 !
I don't believe for a moment that Rob Heys went to London with the intention of being party to the termination of ACCRINGTON STANLEY. Not for a moment. I base this entirely on corrospondence I've received from the man over the last 3 years. I do tend to take people at face value, but I honestly feel deep down that Rob is a good'un who most likely has had his good nature taken advantage of by others.

John !!...Whilst on this occasion we must beg to differ, being one who over the years have, I feel, developed the skill to spot a 'Failure' when I see one !.
This is an opinion based on an appraisal of job-performance and not one formed upon Rob's current proclamations, or is undoubted personal gifts of loyalty, support, and love for our Club,
I have said somewhere before, my hope is that Rob, along with the sort of Mentor he will need, and a better trained/motivated Support Team alongside him during what is going to be a difficult transitional period, will prove himself to be the right man for the job, and will then receive all the acclamation due from yours truly !!
BUT Dear Friend....Whilst feeling, as some Antipodeans would put it as ' Lively as a blowfly on a winters day !'...Think I've got some sort of tropical fever about my person !!...let's get down to the Nitty-Gritty and our daily dose of what some people think is utterly misguided Optimism !,,,,but someone has to look for that little ray of sunshine which eventually pierces the darkest Storm-clouds to reveal the silver-lining which we know is waiting for all of us......including Accrington Stanley !! ( Bet SM is loving this!!) .
SO John!!...just one phrase to re-emphasize what I proclaimed in my first posting !....
'Today WILL be a Red-Letter Day for 'the Club that WILL not die!!....
I say this with the air of total TRANSPARENCY which is, I know, so passionately desired by everyone...and demonstrated so ably by Ilyas Khan!.
( Alfred.E. says 'I bet that UK Cowboy won't be counting the same chickens as you are after yesterday!).
WATCH THIS SPACE FOLKS !!.

Re: 'red letter ?'.. Mark 2 !
Seems that my Crystal Ball and my continual looking through Red-Coloured Spectacles has paid off!!....at last !!!.
This was intended to be a Three-Day Thread SM !...culminating in a triumphant whoop of Victory after 'the dreaded Day' tomorrow night...so after repeating that this has for me...and for all true Stanley Fans everywhere, been....
THE GREATEST EVER RED LETTER DAY !!...
I'm certain there will be many more but I promise not to take up a thread about them ever again ....
So SM...If you think that its time to close my Two-Day Thread well ????
ps...My Rose-Coloured Avatar has been consigned to History...and look who's back with his happy grin !!
