Reduced admission for Brentford game

Quote from Fishy site Wednesday 6th feb 2008 "Reduced admission for rearranged match"
"As promised there will be reduced admission for the rearranged match against Brentford on Tuesday 26th February, with gate prices for all areas set at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions".

I was at the FES from about 2.15 onwards on saturday, and not once did I hear Mr Kirby mention above . Yes he did mention the game on tuesday on numerous occasions, but nothing was said at all about reduced admission.
Unless people are told about this\have the internet, how are they to know,
All I seem to hear is "Go and practice on Highams or "right thats your first effort use it as your marker".
I realise its not all Mr Kirby,s fault, but was it not a great opportunity to get one or two more people to the game on tuesday.

And some indications around the ground that this would be the case wouldn't have gone amiss!!....and how about a full-page advert in tomorrow nights edition of t'Telegraph...for those in the community who just might, with this financial inducement, want to make the effort to swell what could be one of the lowest gates in the season!.
And it was Mr Kirby's fault !!!...

Re: Reduced admission for Brentford game

Perhaps he was "waiting for a text" (I seem to remember this being his favourite excuse).
Or perhaps he did not know about this, but I am sure the stadium announcers at Anfield, Ewood and the Theatre of S**T etc take an active interest in the clubs they work for and would have had all information\research to hand before the game, and not have to wait to be "Texted".

Although I'm one of 'Dicky's' fiercest critics, I don't see him being to blame for not announcing this on Saturday. He only reads out the stuff he's given and if he's not given the information, he won't read it out.
