Referee for chester

The referee for tomorrows game will be Premisership offical Phil dowd.

So on premiership ref standards we can expect 3 yellow card before a red

Re: Referee for chester

he was absolute garbish in some decisions. Mully got nowt for an hour until he was subbed. He was amused by some of the insults though so gets a gold star from me.

the ref was appauling , very nasty comments of ultras and he deserved it , no wonder he has gone from premiership to the football league he should go down even more , i like the way the chester supporter stood up with something on his head and the ultras mocked him saying , " wheres ya caravan" lol was very amusing

He hasn't been demoted. He was refereeing a football league game because the Premier-s**t begins next week.

Re: Referee for chester

Not only was Dowd rubbish but the geezer running the line by the west stand was appalling, did not know the rule of offside and definitely needed glasses when it came to fouls, Dowd was giving them from behind the players when liner had a clear view and kept his flag down, if this is the standard in the league, I will never criticise a Conference ref again!!!!

Re: Referee for chester

Referee was a bit disappointing, the guy who raised an arm at toddy should have gone..If that would have been in the premiership i have no doubts the red card wouldn't have come out..
