1) Sadly, no, as it seems to have disappeared in one of Mrs H's springclean-ups. It was a bit out-of-date, anyway, as it talked about the merchandising operation being "a few shirts piled on a table in the corner of the social club" and, admittedly, we have advanced a little since then.

2) Totally agree, maybe I should have started a new thread.

Yes, you're right, though, it's not the first time I've banged on about this but, to me anyway, it's so blindingly obvious that the club is woefully ignoring a wonderful money-making opportunity. I can't understand why they can't see it. Right, I'll shut up about it now (for the moment).

Re: Request for John Coleman's Resignation

Personally I think that nothing is going to change until there is a change of personel at the club. Everytime I mention this subject I get a stream of abuse back that I wonder if it's worth it. I am bored with the PMs saying the staff do a great job on limited resources because that does not wash with me anymore. The buck for the missed opportunity is the fault of Eric and Rob Heys and before any of you start about Eric this and Eric that I'm only talking about the merchandising part of the club. IMHO we have members of this message board who could have done a better job and brought a hell of a lot more money in to club, rant over.

Re: Request for **** ********

Although Bagpuss has put the facts in a blunt form, he's not wide of the truth in my opinion. I don't doubt the commitment of staff at the club, but elements of the commercial side are woeful. I admit that the club is understaffed compared to other League clubs and i have some understanding why that is the case, but opportunities are being missing on a regular basis and there is a real need for the professional element of the club to permeate through all the ranks.

I've said this before, but we have a League 2 team and a Conference North club.

I dont think this is a negative thing - look on the flip side of it and you discover that for the last four years we have consistently and successfully punched above our weight maybe its time we put some weight on though

I agree.. I dont think many would dissagree... I wasnt suggesting he was wrong.. just wondering why every post had to be slagging the club off.. maybe if he slipped in a couple of nicey nicey posts here and there

Re: Request for **** ********

I agree JC is the right man for the job, what i do not understand is why he is not playing some of the new signings, we have put Baines out on loan, why if he is not good enough then why did we sign him, my concern is that we will lose good quality players and 6 months down the road they will be performing for another club, our loss.

Good point but my reasons are because I care and hate seeing oppurtunities missed. I would love to post some of the PMs and e-mails I have which make interesting reading, but I have not got permission to do so.
Am I bitter?
Maybe, it still bugs me that I was overcharged for my season ticket and the fact that Mr Rob Heys attempted to silence me over allegations of gate fixing, but that is in the past.
I will still have a pop until I feel things are improving in regards to the clubshop, if nobody complains then Eric thinks all is fine, which it is clearly not.

i tend to ignore most of the spiteful comments you post on here but the above one is scandalous, please explain how i tried to silence you on allegations of gate fixing? i invited you to come up to the control room on a match day and see the counting system in action, and even cross reference it with the cctv cameras? how is this trying to silence you? you came back with some nonsense about having evidence of gate fixing which again i asked you to present to us as if indeed you do then the club needs to know about it?

constructive critisicm is great and will always be listened to, whether you choose to post on here, write, phone or email. once again i extend the invite bagpuss, if you have a problem come in and see me about it?

Re: Request for **** ********

bagpuss im with you, i cant remember who we were playing, but the ground was basically rammed. you could of fit about another hundred people in there max but the attendance at half time was said to be something like 2,300 the exact figure escapes me but you catch my drift, but not on this earth could another 1500 people fit in that ground on that night. people were laughing in the crowd when it was announced.

Absolute rubbish - you obviously have never been in a full house at a (standing) football ground
