Nervous? Not really it's our 3rd but it does put you on edge a bit.

Almeida looks a great prospect. Not what I was expecting, but solid, hard, good in the air and excellent anticipation. He was also very vocal organising the back four.

Grant will just fit into the succesful mould of our last few glory years - a central midfield player with the guile of Mike Marsh - nothing elaborate - just always available and always keeping the ball. Just what we need.

Polish bloke (I'm not even going to try!) didn't have a shot to save or a catch to hold, but kicking looked suspect (just like Elliot, Dunbavin & Speare) so he should fit in at Stanley.

I know it was only rezzy football, but it all bodes well.

All this and Stuart Fleetwood, think I'll have a drink to celebrate!!!!
