Smile Results today

Could not have gone much better really

Morecambe were winning, so a draw was not the worst result.

Swindon and Carlisle lost, so at least we are not having to win a game in hand to stay still

Next two games are 'six pointers', win those and it is a different story completely

Well done you blues......had a good start Clitheroe...weren't Bootle top before kick off? And being on the right side of an 8 goal thriller....and a game or two in hand on some teams......how "fit" did Hughesy look?

Yes, Bootle came into the game as league leaders & for first 20 minutes or so were on top. They scored first but Clitheroe equalised just before half time, got their second shortly after the break & then romped to 4 - 1 before unfortunately going down to 10 men, they still got a fifth with a man short but then conceded 2 late goals (probably Bootles one man advantage showing a bit.
Hughes played the full 90 minutes & looked fine, Sean also came on for last 10 minutes.
Didn't know they had Emerich Poilly - don't think I knew we'd let him go tbh

Good luck to him, I thought he looked a good prospect.
