Re: rikki bains

He looked like a good acquisition in the first half from where I was standing. Don't know how he stood up to all the pressure in the second half at the other end but I don't remember anything untoward!

Re: rikki bains

Had a pretty solid game as far as I could see, especially as it's the first time he's been called into first team action

Re: rikki bains

he went to right back when he came on, but seemed to be in the middle quite a bit as the game went on, so I think that he swapped with Edwards in the second half (which I think should have happened straight away). Seemed solid enough, a few stray tackles and getting shut of the ball a bit quick on occasions, but can be forgiven as it was his first game. Will go on to be half decent if he gets enough games, but as soon as Welch is available again he will go straight back in and Edwards to right back.

Re: rikki bains

oops, Edwards suspended now for saturday! Who is left? Cavanagh, Edwards and Ventre out, so that'll be all three right backs then. Looks like Rocky will probs play at right back a la Grimsby with Bains and Welch (available?) in the middle and Leam at left back.

Re: rikki bains

Congratulations to Rikki on his debut - seen him a few times for the reserves alongside Ash & he looked good. Nothing beats seeing your son's first taste of League football.

Lookling for a right back? Ashley (Foyle)'s played there for the last three games at Belper, & scored in the last two.
