Re: RIP Cast42

afraid I went in with both feet. A couple of weeks ago he was in a wheelchair , I pulled his leg asking him what he had been up to , he explained he had prosterate cancer and had now lost use of his legs and this is how I will see him in future . Along came his wife who said they just have to get on with life and make the most of what time they had left together. Last night she came to match I asked if she was on her own , she said she was, I asked if it was too cold for him tonight, she said he will never be cold again as he passed away on Fri . have you ever wished the ground would open up and swallow you ?? I just did not know what to say , other than , it was quick and yes she did agree.
very brave of her to face so many people , so soon, but if thats is what she wants to , I wish her well for her future . may Ian now rest in peace.

Sad news R.I.P.

Don't worry Greeny I think it's happened to everyone at some time, at least you were kind enough to ask about him which I'm sure his Wife appreciated.

Ive sat next to Ian and his wife in the main stand for the past few seasons. A true gentleman who will be much missed.
They always sponsor a player each season - i think it is Dean Winnard this season.

Rest in peace Ian.
