RIP Tommy McQueen

Tommy's died at the age of 85.

Condolences to his sons and daughter.

A great Stanley keeper during the Galbraith era. He was a great favourite at Peel Park. R.I.P. Condolences to his family.

I too remember him as a player at Peel Park, and a good one at that !. So I add my memories to the other thoughts I will have today regarding his passing, and for his family and friends.

I remember Tommy very well. He was a man with huge shoulders who could use them when necessary. I watched the reds Play Liverpool in the FA Cup in Liverpool (that's another Story), where Billy Liddle tried a shoulder Charge against Tommy, but just bounced off him, such was the stature of Tommy.

Condolences to all his Family.
