Rob Elliot and Andy Todd

Can we keep them for next season and beyond.
Rob made some excellent saves again late in the game. (He has saved our skins many times this season) Andy also worked hard and in my opinion has been excellent on the wing for us.
Also I would like to note the unselfish play from both Andy Mangan and Paul Mullin for the Ian Craney goal. Both players could easily have had a chance to score.

I believe that Andy Mangan was the Match Sponsor's "Man of the Match" .

He certainly got a massive round of applause in the Clubhouse . . .

Re: Rob Elliot and Andy Todd

Sure hope Andy Todd does the same as Rob Elliott if not sign permanently. He has become a valued member of the squad in recent weeks and chipped in with some excellent goals. Lets hope Mark Boyd - who looks better each time I see him play stays as well.

The guy is a gentleman and despite joining the club well into the season he fast became a fans favourite. He’s earned a place in Accrington Stanley’s League Two team in my opinion and sincerely hope the club signs him.

Re: Rob Elliot and Andy Todd

I heard that Todd was part-time. If that's true, then a lot would depend on whether he wanted to give up his job and go full-time.

Re: Rob Elliot and Andy Todd

I think there is a big jump in wages at league 2 level, so Andy would need a good job to miss out on that. I suppose he could go back to his Job after his football career is over in 6 or 7 years. Professional football at league level, is something thousands of young lads every year, wish for, but will never experience.
I realise about job satisfaction but what an opportunity.
It's an opportunity of a lifetime!

But if you take a well paid job and add on the earning potential of someone playing in the conference, that's one hell of an income.

Yes I suppose so, I just hope he takes the plunge, even if it's only a season at least he can give it a try just to see if it works out for him.

Re: Rob Elliot and Andy Todd

I remember hearing originally that toddy is a personal fitness trainer and manages to arrange most of his work around that of his commitments to the club although some exeptions have been conceded.

As far as i can tell personal trainers are quite highly paid, add that to conference wages and .........I want to be on andy todd's wages!!!!

hopefully though some further arrangement can be made and toddy will stay, coz he's settled really well and gives mully some lovely crosses and us some vital goals.

Andy was indeed MOM Henry. Kipax has the photo now.
Re Rob: He is due to talk to Charlton before the summer season & expects to either return on a years loan or transfer to the Stanley. Likewise Andy Todd admitted on Sunday that Stanley are aprogressive & interesting club to join, doubt Burton will offer as much of a challenge plus they have also signed the Crawley want away in between.

Re: Rob Elliot and Andy Todd

heard a rumour on Sunday that Andy Todd has signed a two year deal with Stanley, likewise with Rommy Bocco, and also that Andy Proctor has been given slightly longer on his contract. As I say only rumours, but from a very good source, never heard anything about Mangan.
