I dont recollect the speculation about Rory coming from me? I do know he told me it was time to move on at the players presentation evening & if that isn't from a close enough source I don't know what is.
Re Rob, I was at the ground on Wed doing some work & was told by someone there, not going to get anyone into trouble by naming names & when have you known me to get involved in gossip, not my style Kipax.

Re: rob elliot at charlton athletic

Stories without source is gossip al. they may be true.. but no one knows.. You probably have been told by maybe the player or staff that he is here for another year and thats probably true.. I believe ya

But it doesnt appear on the website or become factual until the paperwork is signed... so where people can say truthfully this that and the other it cant be 100% true or released by the club until paperwork done..

JEFF sarcy comments... read the above

Re: rob elliot at charlton athletic

As Accymad said, the source during the Radio Lancashire piece on Monday was an interview with Eric himself. He said they had finalised all the details with Charlton and Rob was here on a season-long loan.

It may be right that it isn't on the fishy site until there's a photo-shoot with Rob, but there's every reason to post breaking news on here, especially from the best source possible ... the chairman!

Ah, you can't beat a bit o' good old fashioned bollocks transfer rumours pre-season. Keeps me going.

Regarding Rob, excellent news. Welcome back!!!
