Re: Rob heys

It is obvious that Mr. Lowe is yesterdays man regarding Accrington Stanley FC. It is unfortunate, but lets now move on and appoint someone with a little bit more nous. The club is bigger than any one manager/player, hopefully

No reason why Stanley should be any different, if anything it should be easier .

If someone had told me a fortnight ago that someone who works in a club's shop couldn't have a bet on the Cup Final I simply wouldn't have believed it.

Games involving your own club or if you are in some way able to influence the result - OK. The rest - mad.

Doesn't excuse Rob. at least not once he had real responsibilities at Stanley, but for me at least goes some way to explain.

Re: Rob heys

It appears there are some people who can't grasp the reality of the fact that, whatever excuses are put forward, Mr. Heys position is untenable, no matter how long any ban is, as far as Accrington Stanley are concerned Rob Heys days should be over, period.
KiTChener and kristo1 like this.

Re: Rob heys

On the contrary, jaysay. I think everybody on here accepts it.

Some people are (seem) more happy about it than others and some have suggested some clemency but I haven't seen any posts to say Rob should be acquitted.

Unhappy Re: Rob heys

Nice Bloke,
Looked liked a decent chief exec to me from afar, but this is so incredibly stupid!
Harsh sentence? Wouldn't have thought so if it had been someone else.

I never said there were people saying he should be acquitted, just that after his 21 months are up there are intimations that he still might have a future with Stanley
