Its gone on the sky sports news ticker tonight that gary's deal has gone through although no mention of the fee involved. He'll be contracted to ipswich until 2010.

Have I missed something here, as I dont recall seeing anything 'officialy anounced' on the fishy site..........I know Gary deal has been 'done' for a while now, but there appears to be no 'official confirmation' that it is now 'done and dusted' from Accy.
Someone tell me Im wrong?

No Probs,
I Spoke to him on New Years Day straight after Ipswich match and the 1st thing he did was look for the Accy result on Sky sports on a telly at the ground which he was well chuffed with (as was I)..Hope Stanley can build on that result,,,,Starting Saturday. Apparently, apart from the reported £200,000 fee, there was a £50,000 loan fee and there's a sell-on clause and a promotion bonus for us, should Ipswich go up.

Both links above are way out of date as they have been available since the end of last year. We have all heard the figures banded around of 220K news to me on the promotion bonus, 50K loan fee and sell on fee? Though if true great. Lets just hang fire and await the official word from Eric and co
