I know a lad who was at Northwich last season so i shall ask him his opinion on our new signing, as he has trained and played with him it would be interesting to see what he says about him.

I am not sure how naming a player who is nearly 24 on your retained list entitles you to a transfer fee when the most it appears they'd have got for a 22 year old was compensation for the training they'd expended on him since January.

Even if it does how could we be any worse off than the BBC Site said when it said the transfer fee would have to go to a tribunal?

He's signed his contract with Stanley not Northwich and I take it we signed him unconditionally.

it seems from the Observer today that maybe he wasn't the original target, we are after Keiran Charnock from Northwich as well and were neck and neck with Morecambe until Peterborough came steaming in with silly offers.
