Actually Henry, there's an old rhyme which states, "Beware, beware the Bight of Benin, for few come out though many go in".

That's a wonderful quote , Oggy .

I've just had a quick look in the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations but failed to find the author.

It seems rather Kiplingesque , though.
