Re: Rotherham Thread

Worst football experience in my life! Beautiful stadium for Athletics in the summer but very poor for Football in the winter! Needed binoculaurs to see the nearest corner flag. Millers fans had no voices at all...miserable and cold atmosphere. Disappointing result because we did have the better of the play in a relatively poor match on a pudding of a pitch! Yes ours is not the only dodgy pitch... Today - Saturday; Millers were called off and so were Rochdale! We did have the chances to win it but we do lack that type of natural goal scorer who just has the "knack" of scoring goals.
Never seen so many bright floodlights - there were more lights than Stanley fans but it was the Stanly fans that shone(and sang) the brightest (loudest). Yes 20 singing and tooting Ultras outsang 2,500 millers! Kipax was on the other side of the pitch near the dugouts and he told me that the dugout and the players could here us singing and supporting. Long live the ultras support - small but truly mighty!
