Ryan Hopper
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news again, but Ryan Hopper has confirmed he's terminating his contract (on Twitter again):
"After long and hard thoughts I have decided to terminate my contract at @ASFCofficial the gaffer made it clear I wasn't in his plans I have"
"Enjoyed every moment of my 2 and a half years there would like to thank the supporters, players, management and everyone at the club !"
"But it is important at 18 I play football hope everyone understands why I made this decision and I wish the club all the best great club"
"On the up ! This is just the start of me in the game and looking forward to the challenges ahead what ever club I go thanks for the support"
Best of luck to the lad.

Re: Ryan Hopper
Saw t'other day that his loan had been terminated but I was hoping that meant he'd progressed and was being considered for t'Stanley. Good luck to the lad, I hope does well.

Re: Ryan Hopper
Well more of a surprise than Hatch, but I think with the arrival of Miller, Clarke, Boco etc it was always going to harm his chances. Thought he did really well in a struggling team towards the end of last season.
Seems a top lad with a good attitude, hopefully he will find another club.

Re: Ryan Hopper
Great young player never losed the ball seen that against man u in pre season against good players and at the end of last season,if he got a chance he could of been great for the club,I am sure a few bigger clubs would of come in for him and gave us a big fee bet they were fishing around last season, could be our loss letting him go,need a reserve team just shows again this situation,I would rather of had Ryan than Clark dixon from what I have seen of them,he got lfe appertice of the month in the whole of England and some other award in England, seemed a nice lad travelled from droylsden, hackney liked him I believe made him skipper and first one to come threw and showed his worth! Shocked, anyones thoughts?
