Re: Sad News......Redraine

Saddened, though not surprised, to hear of Mike's passing after his long battle with illness. I have known him since the days at Accrington Grammar School in the fifties and he has always been a proud supporter of all things Stanley. (Well, apart, perhaps, for one particular player - sorry Mike!) My thoughts and good wishes go out to his family at this sad time. He will be a sad loss to the Stanley community.

Re: Sad News......Redraine

Rest in peace, Redraine.
Only knew him from his posts on here but always regarded him a loyal member of the Stanley family.

Saddened to hear of Mike's passing. From an early age living down the bottom end, as soon as I saw him walking past the house, I knew it was time to set off to the game. Lovely bloke, Stanley through and through. Don't think I ever saw him without his beloved Stanley scarf on.

Thoughts with his nearest and dearest.

Goodnight redraine. Keep watching the reds from up high.

That IS sad news indeed. I fondly remember Rochdale away about 8 years ago Choirboy with you your daughter and Mike. He carried his illness with such dignity, may he rest in peace.
