Re: Saints and Forest forums
That looks like one of my Photoshop efforts . Just look at the line down the side of Sharp's left arm and the 'agent' is a different scale to the others in the picture.
Actually, I think my Photoshop efforts are better than that!

Re: Saints and Forest forums
Im sorry but pretending to sign a player just for a laugh is unprofessional. I seriously doubt its true but it has done one thing, its got the footballing world talking about little old accy.So from a marketing perspective top marks.

Re: Saints and Forest forums
If there's any mileage in this one, it would be a "marquee" signing & a real coup....he'd be real firepower and could be a linchpin in propelling us towards the top end of League Two. With Beattie's contacts, his standing in the game, his persuasive powers and a little wheeling and dealing...who knows what's possible...
Anyone remember his opening statement to the Bellylaugh (L.E.T.) which I posted in an earlier thread?

Since the news got announced, I've had probably 10 players ring me up and said " I want to come and play".

So maybe not beyond the realms of possibility????
however....
The most important signatures I want to see at the moment are those of the likes of Molyneux, Aldred, Linganzi, Boco and Jeffers.

Agree on that, but all we got is a tweet from Billy Sharp, No evidence at all that our manager is a part of it, The photo has been tampered wi some say, i have no idea on that. So fer you to infer our manager has anything to do wi it, is pathetic, If as it unravels evidence to the contrary surfaces then that puts a different take on things.

Re: Saints and Forest forums
As spurious as the story sounds there may be yet be some mileage in it, it would be no surprise if Jade wanted to return to Oswaldtwistle

Re: Saints and Forest forums
Mileage? I think the story broke down before it got going
Seriously, though, I think the most disappointing thing about this whole affair has been the way that the original thread was closed down. Isn't this an independent forum?
