in my opinion having the same team as last year (bar one or two) but an improved squad will only keep us in the league with the small chance of us getting in the play off positions. having said that there could be a chance of us making the play offs as last year 17th and 6th were only seperated by 4 wins (i think). so who knows.

I think it's a bit early to tell - first reserve game of the season tomorrow will give some of the 'squad' players a chance to show what they can do. There are some good young players there, like the new centre back, Foyle (only 19) who can hopefully start pushing for a place in the team when they've learnt & developed alongside the more experienced players.
It will be interesting to see whether the players who've come up through the divisions with the club are able to compete at this level. Obviously some have shown they are Fotball League standard, but for others this is they're first time, and they will need to show that they are capable in terms of speed, strength, skill or whatever to be worth their place.
A bit of healthy competion for places can only be good for the club.
