Scary
I had a dream last night that i was watching Stanley train at Colchester back in 2009. Then this morning I come on the fishy site and read this,,
Players and management rememeber Cpl Steven Dunn
All at Accrington Stanley would like to pass on our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Cpl Steven Dunn who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this week.
The 27 year old from Gateshead was a member of 216 Parachute Signal Squadron, Royal Corps of Signals, who the players trained with pre-season in 2009 down at Colchester Barracks.
The week away was a huge success for the team and Cpl Dunn worked closely with the squad and management during their stay, running several of the drills they were involved in.
Described as a loving husband and doting dad, he leaves behind his wife Cheryl and daughter Emily, and our thoughts are particularly with them at this very sad time.
Sad and scary.
RIP
