Scott Tynan

According to the BBC, Scott Tynan has been let go by Barnet after putting in a transfer request, apparently he wants to come to a club in the north. Would be a good signing for us although he did come on trial last year but was turned down for some reason - maybe we wouldn't get another chance at signing him

Re: Scott Tynan

Well it wouldn't be the first time that Coley has turned away a decent trailist.

My only concern is that Coley will leave it till the end of the pre- season and make rash decisions on the trialists and we end up fielding a team of strangers.

I have every faith in Coley, but you have to wonder, i have visions now of Paul Crichton back in the net come the fisrt game of the season..........

I have visions of John Kennedy in goals, just like the start of last season.

Danny Alcock is and will be Stanley's number one - I really do hope that.l In all the games I saw him play he looked by far the most accomplished of the three 'keepers.

Good luck to Danny I say.

J K has still not signed for anyone & I'd put evens on his being resigned again even if as a last resort. Also hear two more signings in pipeline to be announced next week.

im not debating the fact that Danny is a cracking keeper.................... we already know that!!!!

Re: Scott Tynan

one would suspect that should the club sell Evil then the Tynan deal would be on. If not it's a no go.

Re: Scott Tynan

interesting link kipax, it sounds to me like he may be waiting for another league club to come in for him or maybe he prefers to stay in the conference as daft as that may sound. What I don't understand is why he turned Barnet down when they obviously offered him more than what he was getting citing the expense of living in london, I'm sure it's not gone up that much over the summer!!!!!

Re: Scott Tynan

right so he hasent signed a new contract for barnet this year so therefore does that not make him a free transfer as he does not have a contract so then could we not sign him on a free?

Re: Scott Tynan

Reading the article it would appear that as Barnet have a one year option on him they probably still hold his registration and can ask a fee for him
