As ever when Super Mac pulls the armband on, he upped it a notch tonight

Put a real shift in, very unlucky not to get on the score sheet

Managed the game very well towards the end also - well done Captain

Said it many times before, but that armband does bring the best out of him

Though - strangely enough - I did here people on the Clayton End bemoaning Macca last week

Right place right time. Not wishing to be negative at all but I thought Sean was distinctly average yesterday and frankly lucky not to be sent off.

Tend to agree, 28, but he was average in a team that had a lot of outstanding performers.
Also, don't know if relevant, but I thought McMarmite looked a little heavy-legged in the warm up and wondered if he was carrying a slight knock.
He showed cool composure with the goal, though.

Hes really annoyed me since we gave him his break and would rather go down a league for money !! Tbh , Stockport must be delerious ! In my honest opinion he really isn't that good of a player! He got goals last season but most of time he looked like he could be assed and cost us MASSIVELY in the playoffs!!

Who would have thought 7 years and 12'000 replies later, most of us would be praising Macca, as opposed to condemning him............

On saying that, I imagine most of the Clayton End by me, do not use this Forum
