Re: Shrewsbury in bid for Mullin
I'm going to defend the club here. It's not normal for clubs to officially announce the news that they have agreed a fee to sell a player and then he turns down a deal. All Gary Peters has done now is what a lot of managers do, if they can't have their own way they release details to the press to cause bad feeling. The end result is they end up getting the player because they have unsettled him or the player goes elsewhere.
Bad manners in my view from Peters and to be fair to the club they only really need to put it on the fishy site if a) PM signs a new contract or b) They have sold him.

I understand your defence of the club on this matter, it makes sense to me also, however I, and Im sure a few others on here, are somewhat concerned about the lack of info regarding PM signing a new contract for us......or not as the case may be

Haha, I don't thing he has a long term, 2 years max.
<script type="text/javascript">function __RP_Callback_Helper(str, strCallbackEvent, splitSize, func){var event = null;if (strCallbackEvent){event = document.createEvent('Events');event.initEvent(str CallbackEvent, true, true);**if (str && str.length > 0){var splitList = str.split('|');var strCompare = str;if (splitList.length == splitSize)strCompare = splitList[splitSize-1];var pluginList = document.plugins;for (var count = 0; count < pluginList.length; count++){var sSrc = '';if (pluginList[count] && pluginList[count].src)sSrc = pluginList[count].src;if (strCompare.length >= sSrc.length){if (strCompare.indexOf(sSrc) != -1){func(str, count, pluginList, splitList);break;********if (strCallbackEvent)document.body.dispatchEvent(even t);**function __RP_Coord_Callback(str){var func = function(str, index, pluginList, splitList){pluginList[index].__RP_Coord_Callback = str;pluginList[index].__RP_Coord_Callback_Left = splitList[0];pluginList[index].__RP_Coord_Callback_Top = splitList[1];pluginList[index].__RP_Coord_Callback_Right = splitList[2];pluginList[index].__RP_Coord_Callback_Bottom = splitList[3];**;__RP_Callback_Helper(str, 'rp-JavaScript-coord-callback', 5, func);**function __RP_Url_Callback(str){var func = function(str, index, pluginList, splitList){pluginList[index].__RP_Url_Callback = str;pluginList[index].__RP_Url_Callback_Vid = splitList[0];pluginList[index].__RP_Url_Callback_Parent = splitList[1];**;__RP_Callback_Helper(str, 'rp-JavaScript-url-callback', 3, func);**function __RP_TotalBytes_Callback(str){var func = function(str, index, pluginList, splitList){pluginList[index].__RP_TotalBytes_Callback = str;pluginList[index].__RP_TotalBytes_Callback_Bytes = splitList[0];**;__RP_Callback_Helper(str, null, 2, func);**function __RP_Connection_Callback(str){var func = function(str, index, pluginList, splitList){pluginList[index].__RP_Connection_Callback = str;pluginList[index].__RP_Connection_Callback_Url = splitList[0];**;__RP_Callback_Helper(str, null, 2, func);**</script>
don't be daft, at this level, I would bet on another 5 years, just look at Teddy Sheringham, and, many years before, Stanley Matthews, to name but a couple, I'm sure that many more would spring to mind if I really thought about it... a model professional will always play longer than the so-called 'young guns' who burn themselves out with their hectic (& hedonistic) lifestyles.
saying that, he deserves a long term contract, & I'm sure he'd be more than happy to end his playing days with us. as long as he wants to play, it should be here!
I, for one, would be more than pleased!

Re: Shrewsbury in bid for Mullin
Mullin will still be playing quality football in three or four years time, hopefully for Accy.I think some people on here do not realise what he actually does on a football pitch, he is a fantastic player.

Re: Shrewsbury in bid for Mullin
Given a 2 year contract, which is unheard of for an over 30 year old at Stanley. He deserves it, though.
