Re: Shutting up Somerset
Many thanks to everyone. Sorry to say, I have decided not to risk it. There seems to be some doubt - and I don't want another wasted journey. Instead I'll hope and pray for a fine week so that, with certainty, I can come north and watch us wallop the snake's lot next Saturday.

Re: Shutting up Somerset
I'll bet Coley is regretting his outburst about Carlisle fixtures now. He should swallow his pride and start begging our near neighbours to accommodate us whenever a bit of rain falls in future. Otherwise we are going to have difficulty in fulfilling our seasons fixtures. Sun now cracking the flags of course!

Re: Shutting up Somerset
You'll find this hard to believe, but after smiling at our resident trolls posts, first day at the cricket,a bloke hung a flag in front of me and the missus, after a few minutes I leaned over to read it,and yes it read "Somerset " !!!,couldn't believe it, he's everywhere

Re: Shutting up Somerset
Least we aren't the only game in the league off with the Wombles also falling victim to the weather.
Not sure what we can do really? I've never seen as much rain in 31 + years of living in the area, that's for sure.

Re: Shutting up Somerset
But behold Rovers game at Newport off wondered this morning why that was still on pitch as bad if not worse than ours.
