Re: Signings.

been away for a few days just got back to see we,ve signed billy kee and a player from chester who anyone who knows me is not my favourite but best of luck to both as they are Stanley players who I personally will support as long as they put a shift in. billy kee,s career seems to be at a bit of a crossroads and next season will be a big one for him. he,s gone from being a hot div.2 prospect with interest from championship clubs to a 0 goals last season and a free transfer. lets hope he can recapture his old form

Did he not score against us at Mansfield last season?

Re: Signings.

With a plethora of so-called strikers, I do hope that Marcus Carver is high enough in the pecking order to get a good run of games and hopefully score some goals to boost his confidence.

I also hope that the manager makes his striking substitutions early enough in a game to have some effect. It is pointless to bring on a different striker for the last three minutes.

Re: Signings.

Billy,s scoring ratio in league 2 games is 1 in 3.271 hopefully he,ll replicate that form for us putting in for at least a 15 goal a season man. A good league 2 signing for any club at this level.

Re: Signings.

Defence is looking unbelievably weak. Then again the defence has never been one of Coleys strong points. Worst defensive record in the league for more than 1 season says it all. We have 2 children, and 2 midfielders in there plus a sicknote and 1 unproven signing, leaving just Winnard by himself.

Midfield missing a defensive\strong player. Enter Mr Dunn and the attack looks absolutely awesome. In Goal would sign up the big lad Chapman from Chesterfield.

How many of Beatties, Cooks or Richardson's signings still playing for us? Defo Coleys squad.

Re: Signings.

I would like Chapman, but seems hes a no-no, had another op on other leg or summat.

Agree with you cashman:
Aaron looked class on his loan spell with us,
although he is still having problems with his right ankle ligaments that he injured when playing for us, Chesterfield say they are hopeful of a return around mid August but a loan out may not be available as he is highly rated by Spireites

That would be a monumental signing. Great player. Fingers crossed.

Didn't realise he was 38 though. Still. Bryan Hughes and Mike Marsh did okay in their twilight years for us.
