Re: Signings
I can see Jackson not playing tomorrow, too much of a risk with a season's operating income possible.

Maybe he sees it this way and is happy to stay for now. he’s already taking his career forward by playing in a higher division than last year. Might do him good.

And what if he doesn’t do well or worse still get injured ? Sorry to sound pessimistic but if if if.
His value could take off ..... or head in the opposite direction and another 6 months nearer to expiry of contract.
No one’s right no one’s wrong so we’ll all have to wait and see.
I’m like Chewbacca thinking he won’t start tomorrow.

They signed Ellis Harrison from Bristol Rovers in July for £750,000.00, (who is a striker). The guy they signed for the season on loan from Fulham on Friday is Tayo Edun, who scored on 91 mins, but he's described as a midfielder by the BBC
So he's probably a GK, knowing how good the Beeb is at stuff!

Re: Signings
Definitely a midfielder.
He’s played for England at every age level so far.

Re: Signings
Ipswich town reporter claiming Andy Holt wants £2.5 million for Jackson!
I thought £1.5m was good business, if £2.5m is true then that’s madness but if someone will pay that is great!
Can’t help think Stanley have priced him out of a move if that figure is correct, be mental to pay that for a striker unproven beyond the 4th tier.

Re: Signings
Think part of the reason for the 2.5 million pricetag, if true, is due to the hefty slice of the fee that will go to Barnsley. Ipswich were trying to hold out for £8 million for Waghorn for a similar reason as his former club also have a big sell on clause in place

Pretty sure they have nobody good enough, if he's not good enough to challenge at Peterborough then surely we're in a similar position?

Re: Signings
This sell on clause theory sounds like rubbish to me. Would you buy a house at 25% above the market rate if the seller said he had to split the profits with his mate?
