However the ongoing work will unfortunately have a knock on effect on the operation of the ground tomorrow afternoon for our home game against Chesterfield.

Away supporters will be housed in the Coppice Terrace as usual, with tickets already sold through their club.

Home supporters will have the choice of seating in the Main Stand accessible through the turnstiles adjacent to the club offices, with admission by ticket or cash on the gate. Home supporters wishing to stand will be accomodated on the northern section of the Whinney Hill Terrace but due to the fact that numbers in this area are restricted fans will only be admitted with a ticket. These can be purchased from the Stanley Store before 1.00pm or the ticket office thereafter. Please note all season ticket holders will be guaranteed entry into the area for which their ticket has been issued.
The club would like to thank all supporters for their understanding of this situation that we have for this one game as we work to mak sure that Accrington Stanley will play in the Football League in 2009/10!

As a season ticket holder for the clayton end terrace, does the above statement mean i will get entry to the clayton end???? & what is the whinney hill terrace north section???

It should be closed because of the work being done there. I would have thought the CDM regulation would apply while fitting those new seats. I suspect all the volunteers wont be insured if they hurt themselves or each other either.

Who knows? But if I can't stand in the ground then I will stand at the bar in the Oaklea or another drinking establishment for 90 minutes.

I know the building work has to be done blah blah blah but why was it left to the 11th hour, I know the weather has been a factor, the whinney hill could easily have been closed after the Bradford game and the work done and dusted so it all could have been used for when the Clayton had to be closed

I payed for my ticket on tuesday for the clayton end terrace and will be going in there! Thats what i payed for!
