Stats can't lie. Right?
Thank goodness for the points deductions, otherwise we'd already be in trouble.
We've won 1 and drawn 3 of our last 7; won 3 and drawn 4 of our last 16.
At home, we've taken 10 points; so have Port Vale and Macc; the only worse home records are Grimsby (7) and Barnet (6)
Away, we've taken 9, along with Barnet, Gillingham and Shrewsbury (trouble is that Gillingham are 9th - 23 points at home with just one defeat - and Shrewsbury 3rd (25 points from 10 games at home - 1 draw, 1 defeat)
Worse away teams than us? Bournemouth (8), Chester (8), Morecambe (7) - did I hear faint cheering? - Grimsby (6) and Aldershot (6 - only 2 wins - remember the first one?)
Rotherham have 'earned' 27 points, Luton 24 and Bournemouth 21, which - without the deductions - would make them 12th, 14th and 18th respectively. With 19 points we would then be 21st; same points as Chester, with Barnet on 15 and Grimsby on 13.
I'm certain Rotherham will save themselves; Bournemouth and Luton still could. Thank heavens for Grimsby ...........
Goals win games; we average 1.5 per league game (although how we do that when we only shoot 3 times most games I still haven't worked out)
Am I the only worried one going into the Christmas / New Year matches?
