So what happens..

..to the 'old' style shirts of the players that many of us sponsored for 2009-10 season -are the club going to distribute them now AND do the same sponsors get the 'new' styled ones at the seasons end as well? A kind of "2 for the price of 1" deal?

I believe that the club is on with sorting it. Just a point on the Joma home shirts, they are part of the S.O.S. Share deal. Numbers 02 -40.

3. Sort out the club shop and merchandising in general. (There is another thread on this topic).

4. Explain to shirt sponsors what will be happening as a consequence of the new kit.

5. Ensure that the programme seller just inside the main entrance has enough programmes to sell. My friend told me that no programmes were available there at 2.40 on Saturday and there was no-one selling them inside the ground.
The above was posted on 17 November. Thoughts so far:

1. Action taken.

2. I can't comment from this distance, but I know that a deal has been offered for coach travel and ticket. Has contact been made with Burnley, Blackburn, Bury, PNE to suggest they give it a mention in their programmes?

3. Not much progress so far.

4. No action - hence Kiwi John's new thread.

5. I see that the club are asking for programme sellers. Will they have enough programmes to sell?

Re: So what happens..

Sorry, Valairian! You posted your message while I was still typing mine. Point noted about the club sorting it. Obviously it's being done at "Stanley speed".

The situation was obvious as soon as it was decided to have new shirts. A proactive organisation would have planned a course of action and written to all sponsors as soon that decision was made.
