Re: spreading the gospel

why dont we get a merchandising deal with jjb sports .then have a launch with a few players at the accy branch thatll get some publicity .plus increase profile of club. the strip would probably sell in other town shops as well

I speak to the manager (in person Mr Galbraith) every Thursday, unfortunately JJB & Stanley couldn't do a deal last season..............

Good positive post though

Not really. Jerry Springer was presenting the Friday night project on Channel 4 last night. He said on one of his shows a man was being stalked by a gay guy. So he cut off his manhood with garden shears and flushed it down the toilet thinking the stalker would no longer be interested. Now if that aint a bad idea....

Nice one Macca if everybody does a little bit we will get the crowds we need. For my part I have instead of spending my money in a town centre pub I have been watching Englands World Cup games at the FES, Hollands Pies already has the poster for the Burnley game on the notice board and I purchased a season ticket again, I wear my Stanley shirt whenever I pop into town shopping and everyone I know has had the chat about come and watch a game it's our club.

Re: spreading the gospel

How can those of us living well away from Accrington help best Macca ? I live down south in Berkshire, but happily have the Accrington car sticker scarf in the back of my car, wear my Accrington Stanley Supporters Club badge on my suit to work and have worn my Accrington Stanley shirt when shopping in the local village.

Only last Saturday, this drew someone into conversation about Stanley (and the milk advert !!! ) but I smiled and told them all about the club. I am also constantly preaching the virtues of Stanley on various other teams websites ! lol

I would love to do more but accept that I need some guidance.

Thanks in advance !
