According to a bloke in the local club I went in tonight, Oyston has said their ( Blackpool's ) new stand will be up in time for their Premier League season in the sun, meaning the temporary effort will probable make the trip down the M55 / M6 / M65 to our gaff.
Whilst it's nice to see that efforts are being made to improve the playing surface, part of me wonders what was the financial difference between moving what would have been a
permenant structure and a temporary stand down to the crown. That same part of me thinks the temp stand from Blackpool is; and will be an expensive quick fix solution to our problems.
I'd have thought it makes more financial sense making permenant plans, despite the costs, rather than bulldoze the cowshed to put up a temporary fix which will cost to maintain ???
