Squad 15/16
I know it's early, but the official website has fired the starting gun with a statement from Coleman. His reasoning is we want to try and get players signed up early before another club comes sniffing around for our more talented 'out of contract' players.
According to the website, we have 7 signed up on existing deals:
Winnard
Conneely
Crooks
Procter
Windass
Gray
Gornell
Who would you offer a new contract to? For me, the priority is get Piero signed up - continues to improve, one of few players who can take on a defence and an absolute machine in terms of workrate.
Any thoughts?

Re: Squad 15/16
Keep:
Joyce
Piero
McCartan
Naismith
Atkinson
The rest can go, shame about Buxton but the lad is too injury prone

Re: Squad 15/16
What Chimer? Have you not enjoyed the merry go round that has been the goalkeeper position this season?!
Good point - a solid keeper would be a good start.

Sorry cannot agree to getting rid of Buxton. OK he has had a bad season with injuries this season, but for me he is a MUST stay along with Nicky Hunt. Priority is also find our own goalkeeper along with Andrew Dawber.

Re: Squad 15/16
Midfielder Danny Whitehead signs short term deal - presumably until end of the season?
Played at Stockport and been playing at West Ham until 2015, Sean Maguires mate?
Anyone heard of the injuries to Proc and Piero?

Re: Squad 15/16
pension, aging bones and remote location has only allowed me to get to 4 games this term so not qualified to comment. However, definitely feel the buzz when professor Piero gets the ball and have also witnessed his two stunners at Pompey & Wycombe. No brainer from Stanley's point of view.
