Stadium Name
I've long been disappointed with the stadium name since the demise of Peel Park. The Crown Ground has always seemed a bit insipid, being named after the nearby pub. I could understand the 'Interlink Express' or the 'Fraser Eagle', given the club's need for the income raised by sponsorship.
However I would love the stadium to have a more interesting name, eg the Giant Axe at Lancaster, Craven Cottage, The Hawthorns, Ibrox etc. Given it's geographical location how about, the NORI, the Brickyard or the Old Kilns. Just a few suggestions but I'm sure someone on the forum might come up with something better than the Crown Ground |

Hopefully next season the ground will be sponsored and will, therfore, have a new name.

I'm happy with the Crown, myself - I like the pitch behind the pub implications. Neat and tidy to get Crown Paints as our ground sponsors though ....

Let’s be true to what we have; The Crown Ground or Livingstone Road will do us fine. I’m sure in time some Dank sounding company will come along making us sound like a bad night out; but until then lets be true to ourselves. On, Stanley On! Play up at the Crown.
