Stanley at Accrington Carnival

Tomorrow is Accrington Carnival Day!

The Community Van will be taking part in the procession, before making it's way down to PEEL PARK

Down at Peel Park there will be a chance to get your first look at Stanley's new Mascot ......... who will be helping launch the New Free "ASFC REDZ Under 12's Membership Scheme"

There will be a penalty shootout competition, a "Carnival Special Price" on Season Tickets for anyone who has not yet got one, there will also be a free draw to win a hospitalty package for the Stanley v Blackburn Rovers fixture.

It would be good to see you either on the route round the procession or down at Peel Park.

Don your Colours give us a wave and come along and say hello

Re: Stanley at Accrington Carnival

Well today is carnival day and as tradition dictates the weather is miserable!!!!Good luck with the float and stall guys and gals. I'm hoping to get up to peel park just after lunch, but if it carries on raining it'll be a no go with a small child in a bugggy :-( Come on weather lets see some sun.

Re: Stanley at Accrington Carnival

The day at the Carnival was in my eyes a great success, The launch of "Winstanley" was superb and well received by young and old alike, we were busy pretty much all of the day with the penalties and signing kids up for the new "ASFC REDZ" in fact at times we got a little over run, but that's what is all about getting the name of the Club out to the good folk of Accy and surrounding areas.

Many hundred's of leaflets were disributed by Liam and his team and a lot signed up on the day, just on that I was amazed at how well known Liam is to the kids and they have a great respect and affinity towards him and the Community Team, it was great to see and it bodes really well for the future of ASFC!

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a memorable day
