Stanley Dateing
Do any of you Accrington Stanley badge collectors know when this badge was made. I have been told it was from the 1960s.

Re: Stanley Dateing
Janet,
Don't know who told you the 60's but their wrong!!
In the 60's the club couldn't pay the gas and electric bills and the wages, never mind buy badges!!
In the 70's club merchandise hadn't been invented at any non league level, never mind Stanley.
Please turn the badge over, if you can see the manufacter's name, you will have in your pocession the 1st Stanley badge since the club reformed. I know I comissioned it and sold it in the early 80's. ( will look up the exact date)
If it hasn't got the manufacters name, it will be the 2nd badge comissioned after the reformation. This was a slighty cheaper version sourced by the Commercial Director of the time.
Trust this helps

Re: Stanley Dateing
They are very common and not worth the price of £4.99 it was being offered on Ebay for recently.
