Re: Stanley does Sligo

A (perhaps) long-winded option - Eurolines coach+ferry to sligo from manchester is 61.50 per person return (possibly with discounts for youths/seniors/children). The fares are refundable eg. if people need to pull out.

It does take a long time though and is overnight travel (could be a laugh!!), for example set off friday at 19.45 arrive sligo 12 noon saturday. one change of coach in dublin.

try using gulliver.ie or centralr.com to book/research hotels/b&b

Re: Stanley does Sligo

Just an update, along with the supporters club voting slips there will be a leaflet about the sligo trip attached with a bit more info, still trying to sort out accommodation but it is looking like the weekend will be around the £150 mark + match ticket.

My number is on the leaflet if you want to provisionally book a place/places or post/pm on here and then I will have more of a true amount of numbers wishing to go

Totally off topic here.
I just got a Flogging Molly CD and in the credits by Bridget Regan (fiddle/whistle player) she gives a special thanks to Charles Roberts-pipe maker in Sligo .

I`d never even heard of the place until Cooky went there now i hear it popping up all over the place.
