Re: stanley enter play offs today (monday)?

It has just come up on BBC Sports breaking news that Steve Cotteril has been appointed Notts County manager until the end of the season.

Got to admit that that wasn't the news I was expecting!!!

At least he'll know how to work with a very small budget - wonder how many of their ridiculously highly paid players they'll manage to keep?

County have announced that they're not going into administration:

So, good news for their fans and local businesses. And we stay 8th.

I know, and to think we'd have been wound up for a fraction of that. Apparently they've come to an agreement to ground share with the rugby team but can't see that alone clearing their debts.

Ground sharing with a rugby team, didn't Stockport try that to solve their problems, when in-fact it was the start of their problems.
