Fraserburgh Stanley Supporters Club...like it! As Cashy has said, Oak Lea is a good prematch pub, also the Crown right next to the ground and the Grey Horse, all used by Stanley fans. Believe me, clubs don't come any friendlier than Stanley. Come along to a few matches and you'll have a whole bunch of new mates!

Re: Stanley info

welcome aboard Willie,

like someone said in the other thread it might be worth posting a new thread for 'Scottish fans' etc as there are a few dotted around. Could be worth organising something together for travel down? As far as I can remember most seem to be around the Glasgow area where Deayess, Colemeister, smileyhappyC'monStanley, and Nickelson were.

This is pretty much the only place for gossip and the Stanley official site for (fairly) up to date info.

Tis a friendly place indeed and I'm yet to find a group of ignorant fans who ignore folk when spoken to - most will engage in conversation with anyone when spoken to.

Oaklea pub is handy for early afternoon drinks, particularly as the Chip shop next door is pretty good, but you'll only get your fish battered in there (no Mars Bars or battered puddings etc) and then The Crown for the hour before and after a game is where the atmosphere will be.

Now there's a marketing opportunity none of us had thought of! Three points at the Crown Ground and a night out in Accy!
